Schrader Bremen is the quality brand from the traditional Hanseatic city Bremen in Northern Germany. Where the famous Town Musicians of Bremen can be found, precious goods such as coffee beans were transhipped for centuries and shipping is significant until today, our brand has its home. The passion and love fell due to the industrial production of goods such as furniture and clothing. We want to treat every material as if it was handmade, slow down the world of consumption and appreciate the unique pieces we own. No matter whether it‘s a brand new acquirement, a unique flea market find or the family‘s heirloom – it‘s always about individual values for us. The emblem above our brand name features a slicer, a circle and an angle – the carpenter’s tools, by which he is creating high quality furniture or other unique pieces with an outstanding artistry. The drop in the middle represents the cleansing and care, while the emblem itself is standing for the preservation and conservation of these wonderful unique pieces – that is our competence.

And why is the brand called Schrader Bremen?
Quite simple: We are based in this beautiful northern German Hanseatic city. It‘s our home and was the home of Carl Schrader.

The merchant C. Schrader

„Schrader Bremen“ from the traditional Hanseatic city in Northern Germany is the quality brand for professional interior care. The name goes back to the merchant Carl Schrader, who used to live in Horn, a district of Bremen. Already in the 1930s he supplied households in Bremen and the surrounding area with everyday goods.
A high number of formulas, that form the basis of our highly effective care and cleaning products until today, are out of his fund of knowledge.

A special product back then was a wax care for valuable wooden furniture, which was very popular according to contemporary witnesses. Forgotten after World War II, the product was relaunched as „Schraders Antikwachs“ in the 1970s within its proven quality and has been sold hundreds of thousands of times at home and abroad since the reintroduction.
