We collect and process – i.e. store, modify, transfer, block and erase, and use – your personal data in compliance with the relevant data protection provisions that apply in the country in which the party processing the data has its registered office, i.e. first and foremost in accordance with the data protection provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Germany. Any changes to our "Information on data privacy" will be published on this site. This means that you can access information about what data we store and how we collect and use this data at any time.

We only collect personal data from you if you have freely provided this data to us, e.g. if you have provided the data via an input screen, via email or through another enquiry submitted to us, or if you have expressly consented to the collection of personal data in advance.

When you visit our website, data is automatically stored on our servers. This takes places for security and statistical purposes only. The data stored is the name of your internet service provider, the website from which you visited our website and the pages that you visit on our website, the date of the visit and, for security reasons, for instance to detect attacks on our website, and for a duration of seven days, the IP address assigned to you by your internet service provider. It may be possible to identify the relevant person using this data. However, person-related processing or use of the data never takes place in this context. This data is always processed and used in an anonymised format.

With the exception of the IP address, personal data is only stored if you provide it of your own accord, e.g. in the context of a registration process, a survey, a competition or to perform a contract.

4. Disclosure to third parties

SCHRADER uses your personal data for the purpose of technical administration of the website, for customer management, for order processing, for product surveys and for marketing – in each case, only within the scope required for the relevant purpose.

Personal data is transferred to government institutions and authorities only within the scope of mandatory national legislation. We impose an obligation on our employees and agencies to maintain confidentiality. If you provide your personal data to us, we will process, use or transfer the data only within the scope of statutory provisions or in accordance with the consent you have given. However, we will also pass on the data if we are obligated to do so by law or on account of a regulation or an official or judicial order.

If the transfer of personal data to an external service provider is required in order to provide a service or respond to an enquiry, we will take technical and organisational measures to ensure compliance with statutory data protection provisions. In addition, C. SCHRADER Handelskontor GmbH obligates external service providers to comply with the applicable statutory data protection provisions, to treat the personal data as confidential and to erase the personal data immediately as soon as it is no longer required. We cannot assume any responsibility for the external service provider breaching one of the obligations specified above.

The choice is yours: We would like to use your data to inform you about our products and services and potentially to ask you questions about them. Of course, participation in such cases is voluntary. If you do not give your consent in this regard, you can notify us at any timeso that we can block the data accordingly (see Section 8).

5. Cookies

When you visit our website, we use cookies.

Cookies are small text files that we send to your web browser. Cookies are used to manage the navigation on the website and to make the website easy to use.

Cookies do not store any personal data. The information collected when you visit our website is only stored on a temporary basis and deleted when you end your visit.

In some areas of our website, we use cookies to implement user functions. We will draw your attention to this in the relevant sections. On certain pages, company or agency adverts are displayed directly. Cookies may be used in these cases without us being able to inform you accordingly.

It is also possible to use our website without cookies. Most browsers are configured to accept cookies automatically. However, you can disable the storage of cookies or configure your browser so that it informs you when cookies are sent. If your web browser does not accept cookies, this may limit the usability of this website.

Your Cookie-Consent

6. Youtube

This website uses the Youtube embedding function to display and play videos from Youtube. We use the extended data protection mode, which, according to the provider, only starts storing user information when the video is played. At the moment the embedded video starts playing, YouTube uses cookies to collect information about user behavior. According to information from YouTube, these are used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve user-friendliness and prevent abusive practices. Regardless of whether the embedded videos are played back, a connection to the Google network "DoubleClick" is established each time this website is accessed, which can trigger further data processing operations without our influence.

Further information on data protection at YouTube can be found in the provider's data protection declaration at: policies.google.com/privacy

7. Links to social networks (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram)

SCHRADER uses social plugins from social networks such as Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. When you visit our website, these plugins are activated by default. The plugin remains active until you deactivate it or delete your cookies. Further information about cookies is available in our cookie information.

A direct link to the server of the relevant social network is only established when the plugin is activated, i.e. when it is clicked. The content of the plugin is then sent from the social network directly to your browser, which integrates it in the website. Once a plugin has been activated, the relevant social network can collect data irrespective of whether or not you interact with the plugin. If you are logged into a social network, this network can link your visit to this website to your user account.

In this way, Facebook receives the information that you have visited our online portal or displayed certain user behaviour using your IP address. If, when visiting our online portal, you are logged into your Facebook account or Facebook cookies are present on the device used, Facebook can link the visit to our online portal to your user account. If you click on the Facebook "Like" button, your browser sends the relevant information directly to Facebook, where it is stored and displayed in your Facebook profile. Facebook can also link the visit to our online portal to your user account in this way. Please note that we, as the provider of the online portal, receive no information regarding the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. Further information on this subject can be found in Facebook's privacy policy at www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

If you do not want Facebook to be able to link the visit to our online portal to your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook account before visiting our online portal and delete the Facebook cookies.

If you are a member of a social network and do not want the data collected during your visit to our website to be linked to your stored member data, you will need to log out of the relevant social network before activating the plugins.

We have no influence on the scope of the data that is collected by the social networks via their plugins. For information on the purposes and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by the relevant social networks, as well as your associated rights and configuration options for protecting your privacy, please refer to the privacy policies of the relevant social networks.

If you do not want your visit to our website to be linked to your social network user account, you will need to log out of the relevant social network before visiting our website.

8. Usage-based information and web tracking

We use various analysis products in order to determine the preferences of our website users and identify areas of our website that are particularly popular. To this end and in strict compliance with statutory provisions, we work with external companies who provide us with services such as web tracking and reach measurement.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies that enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymization is enabled on this website, Google truncates your IP address within Member States of the European Union or other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. The full IP address will only be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there in exceptional cases. By order of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports about the website activities and to provide further services associated with website usage and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data from Google. You can prevent the data generated by the cookie relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) being sent to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available via the following link (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB).

You can prevent data collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set, which prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website:

Disabling Google Analytics

Further information on the terms of service and data privacy is available at www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html and www.google.de/intl/en/policies/. Please note that on this website, Google Analytics has been supplemented by the "anonymizeIp" code to ensure the anonymised collection of IP addresses (IP masking).

SalesViewer® technology

On our website, data is collected and stored for marketing, market research and optimisation purposes using the SalesViewer® technology from CONCEPTPARTNER® GmbH.

Usage profiles can be created from this data under a pseudonym. Tracking scripts are used for this purpose. These scripts are used to collect company-related data. The data collected using this technology is not used to personally identify the visitor to this website and is not combined with personal data regarding the individual bearing the pseudonym without the data subject's specific consent.

You can object to the data collection and retention at any time with effect for the future by clicking on www.salesviewer.com/opt-out in order to prevent data collection by SalesViewer® within this website in the future. Doing this places an opt-out cookie for this website on your device.

Facebook Conversion Tracking

SCHRADER also uses the visitor action pixel provided by Facebook, Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook") to evaluate and support online marketing measures. This enables us to track the actions of users after they have viewed or clicked on a Facebook advert. In this way, we can record the effectiveness of Facebook adverts for statistical and market research purposes.

The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, meaning that we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook, and we are informing you accordingly based on our knowledge. Facebook can link this data to your Facebook account and can also use it for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook privacy policy (www.facebook.com/about/privacy).

You can enable Facebook and its partners to place adverts on and outside of Facebook. A cookie can also be placed on your computer for this purpose.

Facebook Remarketing

The Facebook remarketing or Custom Audiences function is used on our website. This function enables us to address website visitors with targeted advertising by displaying personalised, interest-related adverts to visitors to our website when they visit Facebook. In order to analyse website usage, which forms the basis for the creation of interest-related adverts, Facebook also uses cookies.

To this end, Facebook stores a small file with a sequence of numbers in the browsers of website visitors. Visits to the website and anonymised data regarding use of the website are collected using this number. No personal data relating to website users is stored. If you then visit Facebook, adverts will be displayed to you that are highly likely to relate to previously viewed products and information.

9. Security

SCHRADER implements technical and organisational security measures to protect the data that we manage against manipulation, loss and destruction and against access by unauthorised persons. Our security measures are revised in accordance with technological developments where necessary.

SCHRADER does not wish to collect the personal data of any persons under the age of 14. If required, SCHRADER shall, in a suitable place, expressly inform children that they should not send any personal data to SCHRADER. Should parents or legal guardians find out that the children under their care have provided personal data to us, we ask them to contact us using the address below if this data needs to be deleted. We will then arrange for this information to be erased immediately.

To the extent permitted by law and taking into account the relevant legitimate interests of our business partners in the exclusion of transmission or use, we reserve the right, in individual cases and for the purposes of performing a credit check in the case of orders, to pass on and request address details and creditworthiness data. In the case of orders on account, in addition to creditworthiness data, we also request and use address details in order to assess the risk of payment default in individual cases.

10. Rights

If you do not want SCHRADER to collect, store and analyse information about your visit and do not want to receive interest-related information on the website, you can object to this at any time with effect for the future (opt-out option).

For the technical implementation of this objection, an opt-out cookie will be set in your browser and displayed on the homepage when you visit our website. This cookie is used exclusively to implement your objection.

Please note that, for technical reasons, an opt-out cookie can only apply to the browser from which it has been set. If you delete the cookies or use a different browser or end device, you will need to implement the opt-out again.

On request, SCHRADER will inform you, in writing, without delay and in accordance with the applicable law, whether we store personal data concerning you, and which personal data is stored. If you are registered as a user in our online shop, we also offer you the opportunity to view the data yourself and to delete or modify the data where necessary.

If, despite our best efforts to ensure that data is correct and up-to-date, any inaccurate data is stored, we will rectify this data immediately upon your request.

SCHRADER deletes stored data after the expiry of the statutory or contractual retention period or when SCHRADER no longer requires the data. Naturally, you may request the deletion of your data at any time. You are, of course, also entitled to withdraw any consent you have given to the use or processing of personal data at any time with effect for the future. In such cases, or if you have any other queries in relation to your personal data, please send an email to our data protection officer.

11. Contact partner and details

If you have any questions concerning the processing of your personal data, you can get in touch with our company data protection officer, who is also available to help with any requests for information, suggestions or complaints.
